Three summits in one day

The extensive round hike on the Lochnerhorn, the Wandberg and the Brennkopf is ideal for this sunny and warm day.

From the start we walk in beautiful sunshine.

A little later we can enjoy the fantastic view of the Kaisergebirge.

Below us the Walchsee.

The high temperatures are also a bit challenging.

Steeply upwards.

Accompanying spring flowers.

We can even see the Großglockner from here.

As the Lochnerhorn carries no cross, we just build one without further ado.

Taking a snack on the summit meadow.

We set off in the direction of Wandberg.

Hiking with a view into the Inn valley up to the Zillertal Alps.

A rustic hut.

Let's see how it looks like inside.

In the back on the right is the Lochnerhorn, where we were earlier.

From up here on the Wandberg there is a great view into the Inn Valley.

Stop at the Burgeralm, a cheese dairy farm.

Connoisseurs eat Kaspressknödel here!

The cake is also very tasty.

We slowly make our way back. A small summit is still waiting for us.

On the Brennkopf, our last summit for today, our mood could not be better ;-)

At some point we really have to climb down into the valley.

There is still something on the way we want to see, the waterfall.

Ah, very refreshing here at the waterfall after so much sun today!

A short walk through the shady forest.

Then we reach the parking lot again, where our car sharing vehicle is waiting for us.

What a great day! :-)
